Come shop native perennials from Bean Native Nursery, Loveland’s partner in the Green Bounty Pear RemovalProgram*!  These perennials are excellent additions to any landscape, bringing beauty while supporting native ecosystems.  Bean Native Nursery will also have samples of possible replacement trees for the dreaded Callery Pear tree – come shop and make plans to use your Green Bounty gift certificate!

Green Bounty Pear Removal Program: Callery pear trees, seen blooming with white flowers in spring, are actually harming our local environment! They are invasive and threaten the health of our native plants, wildlife, & ecosystems.  The City of Loveland is offering Native Tree Certificates with a value of $60 toward the cost of a new native tree or shrub from Bean Native Nursery, a local grower; participants will also receive 20% any additional trees or shrubs they purchase.  By swapping out invasive pears for native trees, you’ll help bring back songbirds, pollinators, and wildlife habitat; protect our environment’s natural balance and beauty; and reduce storm damage risks and long-term maintenance costs.  More details here: https://lovinlifeloveland.com/events/green-bounty-program-pear-tree-removal-reward/
