Nancy Ford Cones was a nationally recognized photographer and longtime resident of Loveland. Working in partnership with her husband James, who developed her work, Cones often used Loveland residents as models. She was selected by the Eastman-Kodak company to depict rural life in America and her works were featured in magazines and publications from 1898 through the 1930s. The Cones Gallery inside the Loveland Historical Museum Center features a rotating selection of her work.

Displaying more than 200 pieces, Art House II is owned and operated by Deirdre Dyson. Her collection features scenes from Loveland, Cincinnati and Southern Ohio.

This historic building on Main Avenue — once a school, once a shirt factory — is now home to more than 30 artists and musicians. Think of Loveland Art Studios on Main like an art colony: a place where art is created and where the public can visit the studios, browse the gallery, and learn about art.

William Schickel produced paintings sculptures, stained glass, and other notable works on his Loveland farm. His work can be found in many private collections and museums, including the Brooklyn and Vatican museums. His Downtown Cincinnati wall mural, “Eighty Foot Love Letter to the Queen” is highly regarded. Schedule an appointment to visit his gallery, which is curated by his son.

The Quilter’s Studio strives to provide a selection of current fabrics, threads, patterns, books, notions, and supplies for quilters in the Tri-State area. The Studio is home to nearly 5,000 bolts of fabric, specializing in Batiks and Contemporary fabrics.

The Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail (known regionally as the ‘Loveland Bike Trail’) runs through our Historic Downtown. Some enjoy using the outdoor amenities for exercise or recreation. The Little Miami Conservancy (LMC), formerly known as Little Miami, Inc. (LMI), was founded in 1967 as a 501c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration and protection of the Little Miami National Wild & Scenic River. Founding father and Dayton newspaper editor Glenn Thompson brought together fellow conservationists Arthur Morgan, Skeets Fred, and Charles Sawyer to incorporate this historic effort. Glenn envisioned a “corridor of green” lining the river to inspire us and restore our spirit.
