Whistle Stop Clay Works 15th Anniversary Celebration
Studio Celebrates 15th Anniversary with Scavenger Hunt and a big Birthday Bash on June 14 from noon to 3pm
Whistle Stop Clay Works will be celebrating 15 years as a woman owned, pottery studio on Saturday, June 14 from noon to 3pm. There will be cake, studio tours, wheel demonstrations and lots of free raffle prizes for folks to win. The studio was opened on June 10, 2010 by Kay Bolin-O’Grady, Tim O’Grady and Missy McCormick. The studio has grown and flourished and offered classes for adults & children, as well as private events and the ever-popular, Clay & Cocktails.
Starting on June 2, there will be a Scavenger Hunt organized by Whistle Stop Clay Works and surrounding Loveland businesses. Each day on IG and FB, there will be poems or haikus that will give clues to the location of a hidden, tiny, hand made pot. These pots will be hidden all around Loveland for a lucky/clever person to find. Once the pot has been found, the finder should take a picture of the pot with a @WhistleStopClay so everyone will know it has been found. People that find a little pot and @WhistleStopClay will then be entered into a drawing for a large hand thrown vase.
