Sesquicentennial Vintage Style Baseball Game

The City of Loveland invites the community to step back in time and celebrate its rich history during its 150^th Anniversary Celebration Weekend, May 16–17, 2026.

Festivities kick off on Saturday, May 16, at Phillips Park with a vintage-style baseball game featuring local celebrities taking on the Reds Hall of Fame 1869 Red Stockings Vintage Base Ball team. Activities begin at noon, with the first pitch at 1:00 p.m.

This family-friendly afternoon includes complimentary hot dogs, chips, and water (while supplies last), along with a special flyover by the Wright B Flyer.  Guests can also enjoy a “Touch a Truck” experience, offering children and families the chance to explore city vehicles, fire trucks and equipment up close. Commemorative baseballs will be available for purchase and will add to the nostalgic spirit of the day.

In recognition of National Police Week, the City will honor both retired and active police officers with reserved seating and on-field recognition during Saturday’s game, celebrating their service and dedication to the Loveland community.
