Independence Day Celebration
Wear your red, white & blue!
The City of Loveland will hold its annual Independence Day Celebration on July 4, 2026. Join us for a day of free, family fun! The event will be held rain or shine.

Parade Registration
Step back in time and celebrate 150 years of Loveland! Design a float, decorate a classic car, gather your neighbors, or strike up the band for Loveland’s Independence Day Parade.
As part of the City’s Sesquicentennial Celebration, this year’s parade theme is “Loveland Through the Decades – Celebrating 150 Years of Loveland & 250 Years of America.” Participants are encouraged to showcase their favorite era from Loveland’s rich history or highlight a significant chapter in America’s 250-year story. Whether it’s the Roaring Twenties, the Fabulous Fifties, the groovy Seventies, a tribute to America’s founding, westward expansion, innovation and industry, military service, or another defining moment in our nation’s history, bring the sights, sounds, and spirit of the era to life. Join us as we celebrate 150 years of community, tradition, and hometown pride while honoring 250 years of the American experience.
The Independence Day Parade will take place on Saturday, July 4, at 4:00 p.m. Residents, neighborhood groups, community organizations, businesses, and clubs are invited to take part in this special sesquicentennial celebration.
