The 9th Annual Loveland Art Festival Returns—Bigger and Better Than Ever

The Loveland Art Festival returns for its biggest celebration yet in beautiful Nisbet Park. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as more than 80 talented artists gather to transform Loveland’s scenic Nisbet Park into a vibrant celebration of creativity, community, and local culture.

After outgrowing its original venue, the festival is making its debut at Nisbet Park, 126 Karl Brown Way, offering visitors a picturesque setting along the Little Miami River with expansive shade trees, open green space, and easy access to historic downtown Loveland.

“We are very excited to be hosting the Loveland Art Festival in beautiful Nisbet Park,” said Kathy Bailey, Loveland’s Mayor. “This more central venue will highlight the artists and their beautiful art while showcasing our historic and dynamic city, “ she continued.

Festival attendees will discover an impressive variety of artwork, including jewelry, fiber art, photography, pottery, glass, paintings, woodworking, mixed media, fresh flowers, sculpture, and much more. Whether you’re an avid collector or simply looking for a unique piece to take home, there’s truly something for everyone.

“It’s going to be another amazing show,” said Bonnie McNett, show co-organizer. “With over 80 artists exhibiting their work, the Loveland Art Festival offers tremendous variety and selection. It’s a wonderful opportunity to shop local and support local artists. The setting is just perfect, with beautiful shade trees and the Little Miami River ambling nearby.”

This family-friendly event will feature delicious food options from Skyline Chili and El Vaquero to keep shoppers fueled and hydrated, along with live entertainment throughout the day from musicians Clark Jenkins, Alpha Frierson, and Creep It Real.

As a juried art show, the Loveland Art Festival awards more than $1,000 in artist prizes, including the popular People’s Choice Award, determined by festival attendees. Returning this year are the festival’s popular free reusable shopping totes, filled with goodies and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Shoppers can also pick up a free Loveland Art Festival Passport and collect stamps from local businesses to win cash and prizes. Passports available from August 28 through September 5.

The festival is also proud to support two local nonprofit organizations, The Loveland Museum Center and Raptors Inc. There will be an educational program about birds of prey at 1pm that is free and open to the public. In addition, the festival will once again feature a special booth showcasing the work of local high school artists. For the past seven years, the Loveland Art Festival has partnered with Loveland High School to provide students with valuable real-world experience displaying, discussing, and selling their artwork.

The 9th Annual Loveland Art Festival will take place on Saturday, September 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Nisbet Park, 126 Karl Brown Way, in historic downtown Loveland.
