Buddy Badges Are Back – The Kiwanis Club of Greater Loveland and the city partnered this year. Buddy Badges will be $1 each. There will be roaming sales and a tent on Railroad Avenue . Prize Redemption will be at the gazebo in Nisbet Park. All sales benefit The Kiwanis Club of Greater Loveland.

Betsy Ross and Uncle Sam Look-Alike Contest: Also new this year! Drop your sewing needle and pick up your bonnet and top hat. Betsy Ross and Uncle Sam need YOU…to impersonate them at the Railroad Ave stage on the 4th. Join us at 6:30pm in your best Uncle Sam or Betsy Ross garb for a fun look-alike contest. The contest is open to everyone of all ages. There will be prizes for the winners, including an opportunity to be in the 2026 parade as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the U.S. and the 150th of Loveland! Contestants can sign up at the link below up to an hour before the contest starts. All participants will be asked to be at the stage on Railroad Ave. by 6:15pm on July 4, 2025. Register at this link

Adult Team Spelling Bee: New this year! It’s time to settle the score—who’s the best speller in town? For the first time ever, we’re bringing a little friendly fire to the Fourth with our brand-new Adult Spelling Bee. This isn’t just for bragging rights—it’s for glory. Think you’ve got what it takes? Prove it. Requirements: Teams of up to 3 adults (18+ years and older); $15 entry fee per team (Payment is due the day of event at the City booth located on Railroad Avenue); One mulligan (second chance) available for $5—must be purchased at registration; Teams have 30 seconds to confer before one teammate steps to the mic; Miss the word and you’re out—unless you’ve got that mulligan to stay in the game! This is fast, fierce, and surprisingly intense. Words will fly. Teams will fall. Only one will emerge as the ultimate champions of the Bee. Buckeye Pedal Pullers: New this year! Fun for kids 4-11, who get to experience a pedal pull (similar to a tractor pull). There is an opportunity to advance to regional and national competitions. Registration will be day of the event from 4-5 p.m and the event begins at 5 p.m. Participants will receive a ribbon with trophy’s for winners.
