Haunted Hall

For one night only, Loveland City Hall will become something very different from the place residents know.

On Friday, October 30, from 7–11 p.m., the City of Loveland will open the doors to its first-ever Loveland Haunted Hall, transforming City Hall at 120 W. Loveland Avenue into a haunted house as part of Loveland’s city-wide Halloween celebration.

The event is being presented in partnership with Loveland High School’s Tigers Inc., a student-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit that gives students hands-on experience in business, investment, marketing and community service. Tigers Inc. is organized into three cohorts — Wealth Management, Community Outreach and Marketing — and manages a five-figure investment portfolio while partnering with organizations and businesses throughout the region.

Tigers Inc. has worked with partners including the City of Loveland, Xavier University and the Cincinnati Reds and led community projects such as the Steve Kenyon Outdoor Classroom at Loveland High School in cooperation with the Loveland Schools Foundation and Loveland High School’s Green Team. The organization gives students the opportunity to take what they learn in the classroom and apply it to real-world projects that benefit the community.

All proceeds from Loveland Haunted Hall will go directly to Tigers Inc. to support future student-led community projects.

“City Hall has seen its share of long nights, but nothing quite like this,” said Mayor Kathy Bailey. “For one night, we’re handing the building over to the students of Tigers Inc. and letting them create an experience that may have you checking under the bed and in the closet before you go to sleep. More importantly, this event gives our community an opportunity to support these students as they put their skills to work and turn their ideas into projects that benefit others. I hope people will come out, have a little fun, get a good scare and, most importantly, support the incredible work these young people are doing in our community.”

One Night. City Hall. After Dark.

Visitors will make their way through City Hall as the building is transformed with dark corridors, unexpected sights and plenty of reasons to question what might be waiting around the next corner.

Outside the haunted house, guests can enjoy music from the DJ and grab something to eat from Folks-N-Motion while they wait for their turn to enter.
