Hike & Bike: Parks and Trails

Bodley Park is commonly referred to as Betty Ray Park. It is located at the end of Betty Ray Drive off of Wall Street. The park has two youth soccer fields, making it very busy during the athletic seasons. 

Loveland Public Works has a well field site at the property. The park also has river access.   

Adjacent to Loveland High School, Boike Park features sports fields with a restroom/concession building. There is a football complex and practice soccer fields.

The Cherokee Tot Lot has one swingset with three swings, one climbing structure, and one small metal climbing structure.

Wooded nature preserve featuring several short walking trails & areas for bird watching.

The Firefighters’ Memorial honors sacrifices made by local public safety officials. It features a memorial to firefighters who lost their lives in the 2009 Charleston, South Carolina, furniture store fire and a piece of the wreckage from the 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attacks. Located on the Little Miami Bike Trail at the corner of Harrison Street and Railroad Avenue in Downtown Loveland.

Kiwanis Park features a basketball court, playground, soccer fields, and baseball fields. A dog park was added in 2022.

Lever Park, named for Loveland physician Robert Lever, has three tennis courts, two baseball fields, a basketball court, a playground, and a skate park.

Welcome to the city’s dog park! The dog park is located at the rear of Kiwanis Park. The area is entirely fenced and is approximately 2 acres.

The Navaho Tot Lot has one swingset with three swings, one metal climbing structure, one freestanding slide, a bench swing, and a newer play structure with attached slide.

The park is located at the corner of Navaho Drive and Main Street.

Phillips Park has multiple playing fields for soccer, football, and baseball. There is a basketball court, playground, covered pavilion with picnic tables, and bathroom facility. Many also enjoy using the park’s walking trails.

The Veterans’ Memorial is a beautiful plaza designed to honor those who have served our country. It is located on the corner of West Loveland Avenue and Riverside Drive.

Village Anniversary Park commemorates the city’s 125th anniversary (1876-2001).

The small park features one gazebo, benches, and a water fountain. The park is located at the corner of West Loveland Avenue at Englage Road.

This 26.5-acre nature preserve consists of trails within a creek valley. There are trails, creek access, picnic areas, and primitive camping sites.
