The Little Miami Conservancy (LMC), formerly known as Little Miami, Inc. (LMI), was founded in 1967 as a 501c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration and protection of the Little Miami National Wild & Scenic River. Founding father and Dayton newspaper editor Glenn Thompson brought together fellow conservationists Arthur Morgan, Skeets Fred, and Charles Sawyer to incorporate this historic effort. Glenn envisioned a “corridor of green” lining the river to inspire us and restore our spirit.

This historic building on Main Avenue — once a school, once a shirt factory — is now home to more than 30 artists and musicians. Think of Loveland Art Studios on Main like an art colony: a place where art is created and where the public can visit the studios, browse the gallery, and learn about art.

Located just outside the city in nearby Symmes Township, the Historic Loveland Castle is a full-scale castle. Construction began in 1929. Take a self-guided tour!

The Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail (known regionally as the ‘Loveland Bike Trail’) runs through our Historic Downtown. Some enjoy using the outdoor amenities for exercise or recreation. Others will pair that experience with the overall entertainment experience Downtown Loveland has to offer. Feel happy, healthy and connected in Downtown Loveland.

Our mission is to collect, preserve and make available historical material and information pertinent to the Greater Loveland, Ohio area. Open weekly for visits.

At Loveland Paddle Sports (formerly Loveland Canoe & Kayak), we strive to create a family friendly environment that encourages the exploration and appreciation of the Little Miami River through fun, outdoor adventures. Explore the river with your friends, family, team or co-workers and leave the work to our friendly, professional staff.

The Loveland Stage Company is an award-winning community theater. Our organization is all volunteers. We encourage all interested people to become members, whether or not they are performers. Nancy Ford Cones was a nationally recognized photographer and longtime resident of Loveland. Working in partnership with her husband James, who developed her work, Cones often used Loveland residents as models. She was selected by the Eastman-Kodak company to depict rural life in America and her works were featured in magazines and publications from 1898 through the 1930s. The Cones Gallery inside the Loveland Historical Museum Center features a rotating selection of her work.

The Quilter’s Studio strives to provide a selection of current fabrics, threads, patterns, books, notions, and supplies for quilters in the Tri-State area. The Studio is home to nearly 5,000 bolts of fabric, specializing in Batiks and Contemporary fabrics.

Fall in love with pilates at SAW Pilates in Loveland. Our studio is bright, open and airy with vies that inspire and uplift. We offer top quality Pilates training in a small group setting and one-on-one, however our studio culture doesn’t solely focus on the physical benefits. We believe that finding a deeper connection to oneself and to others, fostering selflove, and teaching confident and empowered movement is a big part of what makes our studio what it is. 

William Schickel produced paintings sculptures, stained glass, and other notable works on his Loveland farm. His work can be found in many private collections and museums, including the Brooklyn and Vatican museums. His Downtown Cincinnati wall mural, “Eighty Foot Love Letter to the Queen” is highly regarded. Schedule an appointment to visit his gallery, which is curated by his son.
