Lunch & Learn: The Amazing Civil War History in Your Backyard

Peter Bronson is known to most as the former editor, reporter, and columnist at The Cincinnati Enquirer. He now owns Chilidog Press and has written several books. His latest, The Man Who Saved Cincinnati, tells the story of the youngest general in the Union Army who fought valiantly at the Battle of Shiloh, then was sent to defend Cincinnati from a Confederate attack.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is replacing the Little Miami Scenic Trail’s pedestrian bridge near Downtown Loveland. This is the bridge just north of Nisbet Park. Construction began Oct. 1, 2023, and will last through May 2024. Click for the latest project updates: READ MORE

Head south when you bike or paddle along the trail, and then return to Loveland for coffee, ice cream, drinks, dining, shopping, entertainment and FUN!
