Concert in the Park: Rooster Ridge
Rooster Ridge is a traditional Americana band (and Loveland favorite!).
The City of Loveland presents the 2023 Concert in the Park series! Concerts are free and open to the public. Concerts will be held in Nisbet Park on various Sundays from 6-8 p.m. Enjoy Loveland’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) until 11 p.m. Order food from a local restaurant and enjoy dinner in the park while you listen to the band.
Blending cutting-edge bluegrass and folk with the dulcet tones of traditional Americana, Rooster Ridge is an ascendant voice in the Ohio music scene. Reminiscent of classic groups like The Band, The Stanley Brothers, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and more recently Old Crow Medicine Show, Rooster Ridge brings together superior instrumentation, contagious melodies, harmonies as smooth as Kentucky bourbon, and lyrics as frank and honest as the countryside to offer a distinctive new sound that still holds firm to its roots.
Rooster Ridge was founded in Loveland, Ohio by the Alten Brothers, Jake and Andrew, and Greg Stevens. Rounding out the group are long time friends Bryce Clawson on vocals and harmonica and Jamie Davidson on vocals and bass. Rooster Ridge invites you to sit back, relax, and become part of their distinctly American musical journey.
